I have been working as a director and editor for about ten years. I have been able to direct and edit several fictions, participate in the editing of medium and feature-length documentaries, work in several television channels, create and design opening credits, edit making-of, video clips, trailers, corporate videos, etc.
Over the years, I developed new skills, extending my field of action from script writing to post-production (sound and image editing, special effects and color grading) through shooting. I am a certified drone pilot. If a project requires it, I can act alone from beginning to end, I can also lead a team, each project is unique. I have my own shooting equipment and video editing suite, and I am surrounded by loyal collaborators in different fields.
It is a true desire to tell stories that is at the source of each of my projects. I am always looking for strong characters to create narratively powerful images. I attach the greatest importance to the sound environment of my creations, from the careful selection of music to the precision of sound design. Years of experience in editing and compositing, and more generally in post-production, lead me to think these final stages from the genesis of my projects and to know how to plan beforehand the implementation of special effects and especially the cuts. However, this does not prevent me from remaining attentive to the unexpected events happening while shooting, which regularly and intuitively find their place in my videos.
I came back from a one year travel around the world in the spring of 2018, a long journey that took me to Asia, Oceania and South America, during which I was in contact with many very different cultures, from which I have been able to listen to their fascinating stories and which will remain sources of inspiration for a long time. Following this trip, I’m developing a documentary series on craftsmen with French production company Zadig Productions, currently being written and with whom I signed in August 2019 an option contract for its making.
